Tips for acne free skin
Tip 1: Keep your skin clean
More than 80% of your problem will be solved when your skin is squeaky clean. So splash water in your skin 4 times a day and use herbal face wash (twice) preferably with neem, green tea and papaya extracts. Make this your daily regimen.
Tip 2: Avoid using too many cosmetics
Cosmetics never do any good to your skin as they contain chemicals. If you think a particular product has triggered the acne, then stop using it immediately. It’s better if you can stick to organic products to take care of your skin.
Tip 3: Never sleep with makeup
Removing makeup before going to bed is a must. Use a gentle moisturiser based product to remove every trace of makeup from your skin including your eyes. Rinse your face with plain water and apply aloe vera gel or a mild herbal moisturizer.
Tip 4: Drink water, detox and exercise
You need to cleanse your body internally. Flush out toxins by drinking plenty of water and then have a detox diet including neem juice, spinach, oranges, lemons, apples, etc. Exercise and do pranayamas to get rid of acne.
Herbal home remedies for acne
Sandalwood and rose water pack
Make sure the sandalwood powder or paste you are using is absolutely pure. Form a paste by adding rose water and apply all over your face every day
Neem and honey pack
Neem is one of the best acne fighters. Paste some neem leaves smoothly and add a pinch of honey. Apply carefully all over your face, except eyes. Remember, your skin burns too much then wash off immediately.
Lemon juice and ice
Do not apply lemon juice directly on your skin. Instead what you can do is, get some ice cubes, dip in the lemon water and rub them gently all over your skin.
Green apple and papaya
Next time you buy green apples and keep, stack some pulp for your skin. Crush the pulp and dab it over your face. Keep for 20 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
Another remedy for acne is turmeric. Get fresh turmeric roots from the supermarket and grind it to form a smooth paste. Apply all over your face and rinse off when dry.
Organic aloe vera gel or fresh aloe vera pulp
You don’t need to do much here but it’s excellent for acne. Just apply the pulp or the gel on your face before bedtime to see the difference in a few days.
Apple cider vinegar wash
It is an excellent toner for acne prone skin. If your face has been covered with acne, then dab some apple cider vinegar in cotton ball and apply all over your face.
