Vegetable sources of protein scores no less than the animal source of protein

Oct 04, 2011
If you are a vegetarian you need not worry as vegetable sourced protein is as good as animal based protein. Vegetable sourced proteins (such as beans, nuts, and whole grains) are much lower in saturated fats, cheaper in price and are less perishable. Along with proteins, vegetables also contain micro nutrients, anti oxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Some of the vegetable sources of proteins are Tofu, Nuts (almonds, cashews, chest nuts, hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachio, walnuts), Seeds (sun flower seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds), Beans (black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, lentils, soybeans), whey powder, eggs, yogurt, cheese.
