Use sunscreen with SPF 30+ for oily skin

Nov 16, 2011
Banish oil with sunscreen: Rain or shine, protecting oily skin with sun on a daily basis is imperative. People with oily skin should wear a sunscreen which is "broad-spectrum" or "UVA/UVB" resistant to block both types of ultraviolet rays, keeping the SPF strength 30 or higher. Don’t be mislead by the notion that sun will “dry” up the oil from the skin and help in clearing the acne; on the contrary it will only burn and worsen it. Choose a sunscreen product that is non-comedogenic (non pore blocking) and less oily.
