Fats in food – Cut, Curb and Control: Fats are one of the essential components of a healthy diet. However, the daily requirement of fats is about 30% of the total calorie requirement during the day. Regular meals taken in a day are enough to fulfil this requirement. The extra fats from junk foods and other fried stuff should therefore be cut down, as they are not a part of a regular meal.
