Separate the meats, seafood and eggs to prevent cross contamination
Apr 24, 2015
The easiest way for bacteria to spread is through cross-contamination. When you are shopping for grocery, make sure you keep your meats, poultry, eggs as well as seafood in a separate trolley or separate rack in the same trolley. This is because harmful bacteria from the juices of these products can drip into other food items such as vegetables, breads and other ready to eat foods. Thus, increasing the risk of contamination and spread of infection.
