Second hand smoke is harmful for unborn baby

Nov 28, 2011
Passive smoking is injurious in pregnancy: Not smoking during pregnancy but simply being around in the company of ones who smoke can add to the risk of harming the unborn baby. The damaging contents of the smoke silently reach the baby through the mother’s blood, even when she plays a mere passive smoker. This situation increases the risk of “still births” and chances of babies being born with “birth defects” manifold.
