Practicing yoga has proven time and again to be beneficial in loosing belly fat and getting a toner tummy. There are several positions (known as asanas) which exercise and strengthen the stomach muscles, leaving a much trimmer and toned on the middle body. Pavan muktasana, bhujangasana, and dhanurasana are particularly effective in getting a flatter belly.
