Offer plenty of fluids to a child with fever
Feb 15, 2015
Fever causes an increase in body temperature. In this state, the body loses more fluids than usual. This can lead to dehydration in children. It’s quite normal for kids to refuse to eat when they have a fever. However, make sure you offer them more fluids such as soups, water, etc., to avoid dehydration and balance the loss of water from the body due to urination.
