A bowl full of muesli in breakfast is an ideal way to kick-start your day. Muesli is basically an assortment of raw oats, fruits, raisins, chopped walnuts, cashews and almonds. Apart from being delicious, it also helps in lowering the cholesterol. Beta glucan, a type of soluble fiber found in oats lowers the low density cholesterol (bad cholesterol). If you are getting a pre-packaged version, look for the low-sugar one to cut down calories.
