Red, ripe, and juicy tomatoes shun prostate cancer: Lycopene, an antioxidant, found in tomatoes is known to reduce the effects of prostate cancer in males. Processed tomatoes are better than raw ones to hail its anti cancer properties as while they get processed, lycopene gets released from the cell structure of the tomato and get absorbed fast.
