Lean meat is a good choice for losing weight

Meat and poultry can make a well balanced diet as they provide adequate protein. However, meat and poultry are also the sources of unhealthy fat as well as cholesterol. For losing weight and for staying healthy, you do not need to give up meat and poultry but just stick to lean meat. The total fat in lean meat is lesser. Moreover it contains fewer amounts of saturated fats. Lean cuts for beef are round, chuck, sirloin and tenderloin. Lean pork and lamb include tenderloin, loin chops and legs. The leanest poultry is chicken breast without skin.
