TV kills outdoor fun: Watching television for long hours is unhealthy for children as it inhibits them from being physically active, making them prone to being overweight and obese. Parents should set TV viewing time limits and encourage the child to take part in more of outdoor action rather than sitting glued to the screen. A minimum of 60 minutes of physical indulgence in forms of sport or any other physical activity is a must of every child.
