How to store olive oil

The key is to protect it from heat, air, and light. Store in either tinted glass (to keep out of direct light) or in a stainless steel container. Avoid containers made of iron, copper or even cheap plastic. Close the lid tightly to not let any air go inside. Refrigerate or keep in a dark, cool cupboard away from the stove (heat). It is best to be used within a year of pressing.
