Organic food is grown in a pesticide free environment. This reduces the exposure of food to chemicals. As food is something we ingest, chemicals gain direct entry into our body through food. There are over 80,000 chemicals registered at the EPA for agricultural use. Just imagine the pesticide load entering your system through food. Pregnant women and children should totally avoid these chemical laden foods. The only solution to avoid the toxic concoctions in food is by going organic.
