Aug 03, 2011
If you are in a diet program and want to lose weight, it is always advised to drink skimmed milk. Whole milk contains saturated fat whereas skimmed milk is fat free. About 250 ml of skimmed milk contains 80 calories and zero fat. On the other hand 250 ml of whole milk contains 150 calories and 8 grams of fat. Thus by shifting to skimmed milk you can cut down 70 calories and 8 grams of fat. Moreover, skimmed milk contains the same amount of protein and calcium as present in whole milk.
