Breathe in and out deeply to distress: Whenever you feel tensed or stressed, breathe air in deeply, hold for a while and then exhale. Do this 3-4 times at a go. Increased infusion of oxygen reaching brain helps in relaxing and calming senses. Also, instead of the situation you start focusing more on the breathing, which diverts your mind from the tensed condition.
