Aug 17, 2011
Drinking cardamom tea after spicy food helps in digestion. The acid secreted due to the consumption of spicy food produces gas and causes indigestion by upsetting the intestine. The cardamom present in the cardamom tea relives the gas and reduces the occurrence of flatulence. Cardamom is also helpful in treating heartburn, stomach ache and cramps. Cardamom (also known as Elaichi) is called the queen of spices.
