Caffeine make baby irritable

Oct 30, 2011
Less caffeine for lactating mothers: A lactating mother should keep a tab on the cups of tea, coffee or even aerated drinks that she gulps in a day considering the fact that such beverages contain “caffeine”, which doesn’t go too well with the baby’s system. Caffeine is a stimulant and can make the baby irritable, jittery, colicky, unsettled and constipated. Limit the consumption to one to two cups of tea or coffee and one to two glasses of sodas per day.
