Nov 16, 2014
Today’s lifestyle has many young adults sticking to the chair. Reduced physical activity due to the long-hours at a desk job has lead to many disadvantages health wise. A growing trend proves that a sedentary lifestyle hinders muscle strength, joint function and structure. Sitting for long hours puts pressure on the knees, leading to knee and joint pain. It also makes the bones and joints weak, increasing the risk of arthritis. Regular movement throughout the day helps keep the joints healthy and reduce risk of arthritis.
