Antihistamines act against histamine, which cause allergic reactions. Antihistamines may cause dizziness and drowsiness. It is not advisable to drive or operate the machinery while taking the antihistamines. Some antihistamines which cause drowsiness are fexofenadine, hydroxyzine, diphenhydramine etc.
