A dose of glucose fuels the brain
May 27, 2014
Scientists have found out glucose helps energize the brain. The sweets that we eat contain sugar, that is made of glucose. Glucose enters the bloodstream and reaches the brain. Thus, a rise in blood glucose levels helps feed the brain cells. This helps make the brain cells alert and increase the memory and attention span to some extent. So, a dash, not more of glucose will help charge up the brain.
