A dirty tongue causes bad odour from mouth

Oct 13, 2011
Our tongue is like a carpet. It traps tiny food particles and become a favourable breeding ground for microscopic bacteria, resulting in bad mouth odour (halitosis). Regularly clean your tongue using a toothbrush, the edge of a spoon or with a proper tongue cleaner. Rinsing mouth with a mouth wash or plain water every time you eat is a must to dislodge the food particles.
