Bitter guard controls diabetes

Oct 20, 2011

Bitter guard or “karela” may not be a favourite among some because of its sour taste but it comes packed with powerful insulin lowering properties and is being looked upon at as an effective treatment for diabetes. It improves the bodys ability to utilize blood sugar and perk up glucose tolerance. If eating this bitter veggie is not your style, you can still reap its benefits in forms of capsules and tea bags too.
