Uses: Zvd 300 mg tablet is used to control HIV infection along with other HIV medication. This drug is also used in pregnant women to prevent passing HIV virus to the unborn baby. It is also used in children of 4 week age or older who are born to mothers infected with HIV to prevent infection.
How to use: Take Zvd 300 mg tablet by mouth 2 to 3 times a day with or with out food as directed by your doctor. Do not miss the dose as drug should be maintained at constant level for better treatment.
Side Effects: Headache, nausea, vomiting, weakness, trouble sleeping, or loss of appetite.
Dosage: Usual adult dose for HIV infection: 300 mg two times daily or 200 mg three times daily.
