Uses: Venaxin 75 mg SR tablet is used to treat depression. It is also used to treat general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), panic disorder.
How to use: Take Venaxin 75 mg SR tablet orally with food. It takes one month for the symptoms to improve. Keep using for full prescribed length of time and if symptoms does not improve informe your doctor. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can increase the side effects of venlafaxine.
Side Effects: Nausea and vomiting, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, vision changes, sleep problems (insomnia), sweating, impotence.
Dosage: Usual adult dose for depression: 75 mg orally in two or three divided doses. Maximum daily dose is depend on the severity of the depression. Usual Adult Dose for Anxiety (Extended release) - Initial dose: 75 mg orally once a day. Maximum daily dose: 225 mg. Usual adult dose for panic disorder (Extended release) - Initial dose: 37.5 mg orally once a day. Maximum daily dose: 225 mg.
