Category: Racecadotril peripherally acting enkephalinase inhibitor. It works by reduceing the secretion of water and electrolytes into the intestine.

Uses: Racy 10 mg Sachet is used for acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 3 months of age.

How to use: Racy 10 mg Sachet is usually given for children from the age 3 months to 12 years. Add the granules from sachets in the water, mix well and give the dose immediately. The dose (one sachet or two sachets) is depend on the severity of condition. It is given 3 times daily. This medicine should not be given more than one week. Follow the directions given by the doctor.

Side Effects: Vomiting, nausea, constipation, stomach ache, thirst, vertigo, headache, angioedema.
