How to use: Nine INJ injection is given at doctors office. Take this medication for full prescribed length of time. Stopping the medication early may result in return of the infection. Do not take heparin or warfarin along with quinine as these increase the risk of side effects such as bleeding.
Side Effects: Dizziness, flushing, headache, restlessness, confusion, nervousness, nausea, sweating, ringing in the ears
Dosage: Usual adult dose for malaria (uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria): 648 mg orally three times daily for 7 days.
