Uses: Shinosun 60 mg tablet is used to control certain types of seizures. It is also used to relieve anxiety, tension, fear and short term treatment of sleeplessness.
How to use: Take Shinosun 60 mg tablet orally one to three times daily. Phenobarbital can be habit forming. Do not take longer than recommended by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it cause withdrawal symptoms. Your doctor will gradually decrease the dose.
Side Effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, excitation, headache, lightheadedness, tiredness, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting
Dosage: For mild sedation: 30 to 120 mg in two to three divided doses. To treat sleeplessness: 100 to 200 mg orally at bed time. As an anticonvulsant: 50 to 100 mg, two to three times a day.
