Category: Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Indapamide is a diuretic.

Pregnancy category: Perindopril belongs to US FDA pregnancy category D (Positive evidence of risk). Indapamide belongs to US FDA pregnancy category B (No risk in non-human studies)

Uses: Coversyl plus tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent heart attacks, heart failure, heart disease, stroke and kidney problems.

How to use: Take Coversyl plus tablet orally with or without food once or twice daily. It does not cure high blood pressure but controls it. If your doctor advises low sodium and low potassium diet along with this medication follow it.

Side Effects: Dizziness, Headache, lightheadedness, tiredness, dry cough, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
