Uses: Coversyl 2 mg tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and to prevent heart attacks in patients with stable coronary artery disease. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent heart attacks, heart failure, heart disease, stroke and kidney problems.

How to use: Take Coversyl 2 mg tablet orally with or without food once or twice daily. It does not cure high blood pressure but controls it. Do not stop taking the Perindopril even you feel better as high blood pressure has no symptoms. If your doctor advises low sodium and low potassium diet along with this medication follow it.

Side Effects: Dizziness, Headache, lightheadedness, tiredness, dry cough, stomach pain.

Dosage: Usual adult dose for hypertension: Initial dose is 4 mg once a day. Maintenance dose is 4 mg to 8 mg. Maximum daily dose is 16 mg. Usual adult dose for stable coronary artery disease is 4 mg once daily. Maximum daily dose is 8 mg.
