Uses: Pamifos 60 mg injection is used to treat high levels of calcium in the blood that may be caused due to cancer. This medicine is used to treat bone damage caused by breast cancer or bone marrow cancer. It is also used to treat Paget's disease of bone.
How to use: Pamifos 60 mg injection is given by IV infusion at doctors office.
Side Effects: Fever, fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, Bone pain, redness or swelling at the site of injection, headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness or trouble sleeping. Most of these effects are mild and can last up to 48 hours.
Dosage: 60 to 90 mg single intravenous infusion over 2 to 24 hours
