Animal studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks. This means that this medication harmful affect on fetus in not ruled out. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.

Ibugesic belongs to FDA pregnancy category D during 3rd trimester from 30th week of gestation

There is positive evidence of human fetal risk  based on studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks. Dosage for ibugesic

For pain (including menstrual pain) and fever adult dose is 200 mg to 400 mg every 4 to 6 hours.

For arthritis pain (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis)  adult dose is 400 to 800 mg every 6 to 8 hours.

The dose for kids is 5mg per kg weight for fever.
