Uses: Halidol 5 mg tablet is used for treating schizophrenia. It is also used to control the symptoms of Tourette's disorder.

How to use: Take Halidol 5 mg tablet orally with or with out food. Do not stop taking this drug suddenly, you may have withdrawal symptoms. Your doctor will gradually reduce the dosage.

Side Effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, sleep disturbances, headache, and anxiety.

Dosage: For schizophrenia, Psychosis the dose is 0.5 to 5 mg two to three times a day.
