Uses: Glimiprex 4 mg Tablet is used to control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It is used along with proer diet and exercise. It may be given with other antidiabetic medication.
How to use: Take Glimiprex 4 mg Tablet along with breakfast orally. Follow the directions on the prescription and do not stop taking medication with out consulting the doctor.
Side Effects: Nausea. Glimepiride may cause low blood sugar if you exercise more or take less calories. Some of the symptoms of low blood sugar are sweating, shaking, fast heart beat, hunger, dizziness, blurred vision, weakness.
Dosage: Glimepiride usual adult dose for type 2 diabetes: Initial dose is 1 to 2 mg orally once a day. Maintenance dose is 1 to 4 mg orally once a day. The maximum daily dose is 8 mg.
