Uses: Isryl M tablet is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
How to use: Take Isryl M tablet orally with food as directed by your doctor. Start with low doses and gradually increase the dose to avoid the side effects of low blood sugar. Take regularly to get the most benefit from the medication.
Side Effects: Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, stomach upset, weakness, or a metallic taste in the mouth may occur. Symptoms of low blood sugar include sudden sweating, shaking, fast heartbeat, hunger and nausea, blurred vision, dizziness and headache, or tingling hands/feet.
Dosage: Each tablet contain glimepiride 2 mg, metformin hydrochloride 500 mg. Usually it is given once daily. If required after two weeks your doctor increases to twice daily.
