Uses: Dulomax 40 mg tablet is mainly used to treat depression and anxiety. This medicine is also used to treat nerve pain in diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia.
How to use: Take Dulomax 40 mg tablet orally with or with out food. Swallow whole, do not crush. To avoid side effects start with low dose and gradually increase the dose.
Side Effects: Nausea and vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, loss of appetite, weakness, increased sweating.Dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness may occur during the initial days.
Dosage: Usual adult dose for depression: 20 to 30 mg twice daily for first one week. After first week increase the dose at the increments of 30 mg per day. Maximum daily dose is 120 mg. Usual adult dose for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy: 60 mg as a single dose or in two divided doses. Maximum daily dose is 60 mg. Usual adult dose for Anxiety: 60 mg as a single dose or in two divided doses.Maximum daily dose is 120 mg. Usual adult dose for Fibromyalgia: For first one week 30 mg per day and then 60 mg per day. Maximum daily dose is 60 mg.
