Uses: Doxylamine is an antihistmine used to treat sleeplessness. Doxylamine along with decongestants is used to treat symptoms of allergy, sneezing, runny nose, hay fever, nasal congestion and common cold. Doxylamine along with pyridoxine used to treat nausea and vomiting (morning sickness).
How to use: Take Nona tablet orally one hour before or two hours after the food. Follow the directions given by your doctor on the prescription. As it cause drowsiness it is advisable to take before bed time.
Side Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, xerostomia (dry mouth), headache, constipation, stomach upset, blurred vision, decreased coordination, diarrhea
Dosage: Usual adult dose for doxylamine, Forsomnia: 25 mg before bed time. For nausea and vomiting during pregnancy 20 mg before bed time.
