Uses: Cifran OD 1 mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, sinusitis, pneumonia, bone and joint infections, prostatitis. Lower respiratory tract infections. It is also used to treat anthrax.
How to use: Take Cifran OD 1 mg Tablet alcipro with food to avoid nausea. Do not take this medicine along with dairy products such as milk, yogurt. Take at regular intervals as prescribed. Do not stop this medication even if you feel better.
Side Effects: Vomiting, diarrhea, vaginal discharge, headache, lightheadedness. Skin sensitivity to sun light.
Dosage: Dose and duration of treatment depends on the bacterial infetion to be treated. Usually it is given every 12 hours. The duration is normally 7 to 14 days. For bronchitis ciprofloxacin adult dose is 500 mg every 12 hours.
