Category: Ciprofloxacin belongs to Fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Tinidazole is a member of the drug class amebicides.

Uses: Supraflox TZ tablet is used to treat infections against both bacteria and protozoa. It contains both ciprofloxacin and tinidazole. Tinidazole is used for vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis and parasite infections such as giardiasis, amebiasis. Ciprofloxacin is used for bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections. Ciprofloxacin is also used to treat anthrax.

How to use: Take Supraflox TZ tablet with food to avoid stomach upset. Take regularly for prescribed length of time. Early discontinuation results in return of the infection.

Side Effects: Vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, abdominal pain, vaginal discharge, headache, dizziness, lightheadedness. Skin sensitivity to sun light.
