Uses: Doxiz 100 mg tablet is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia, tonsillitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, and ear infections (otitis media), skin infections, throat(pharyngitis), urinary tract infections and gonorrhea.
How to use: Take Doxiz 100 mg tablet with food. Take this medicine full coarse of treatment to clear up infection completely. It interacts with antacids, h2 antagonists and probencid. These should not be given with in two hours or after two hours of taking this medicine.
Side Effects: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loose stools, upset stomach, headache, mild skin rash
Dosage: The dosage is depend on the infection to be treated. The adult dose for Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Sinusitis is 200 mg twice daily and for Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis, Respiratory Tract Infection, Cystitis is 100 mg twice daily.
