Uses: Adinir 300 mg capsule is used to treat bacterial infections. Ear infection (otitis media), sinus infection (sinusitis), throat infection (tonsillitis), bronchi (bronchitis), lungs (pneumonia), skin and other soft tissues. Cefdinir will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.
How to use: Take Adinir 300 mg capsule with or without food once or twice daily. Cefdinir interfere with lab test. Let doctor know if you are doing any medical tests like blood glucose tests. Some of the interaction of cefdinir are: Antacids or Fe reduce the absorption of cefdinir. Fe may cause reddish stool. Probenecid decrease the elimination of cefdinir.
Side Effects: Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, vaginal itching or discharge, skin rash.
Dosage: 300 mg orally twice daily for upto 2 weeks.
