Uses: Parafon Dsc 500 mg tablet is antispastic agent. It is used to treat muscle spasms, cramping caused by multiple sclerosis and injuries to the spine.

How to use: Take Parafon Dsc 500 mg tablet with or without food. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly as it cause withdrawal symptoms such as hallucinations and seizures. Your doctor gradually decrease the dose.

Side Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, tiredness, headache, insomnia, nausea, increased urination, constipation.

Dosage: Usual Adult Dose for Muscle Spasm: 5 mg 3 times per day for 3 days, increased to 10 mg 3 times per day for 3 days then increased to 15 mg 3 times a day for 3 days, may further increase if needed. Maximum daily is 100 mg per day.
