Uses: Bacfen 5 mg tablet is antispastic agent. It is used to treat muscle spasms, cramping caused by multiple sclerosis and injuries to the spine.

How to use: Take bacfen 5 mg tablet with or without food. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly as it cause withdrawal symptoms such as hallucinations and seizures. Your doctor gradually decrease the dose.

Side Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, tiredness, headache, insomnia, nausea, increased urination, constipation.

Dosage: Usual Adult Dose for Muscle Spasm: 5 mg 3 times per day for 3 days, increased to 10 mg 3 times per day for 3 days then increased to 15 mg 3 times a day for 3 days, may further increase if needed. Maximum daily is 100 mg per day.
