Uses: Nustat 10 mg tablet is used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL or low-density lipoprotein) and triglycerides and improve good cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL). Reducing high cholesterol lower the risk of heart attack, stroke.
How to use: Nustat 10 mg tablet taken once a day with or with out meals. Take the medication same time every day so that you do not miss the dose. Have blood test done and change the dose as advised by your doctor.
Side effects: Muscle pain or muscle weakness
Dosage: For the prevention of cardio vascular disease: The initial dose of atorvastatin is 10 to 80 mg once a day. For reducing cholesterol: The initial dose of atorvastatin is 10 to 40 mg once a day.
