Uses: Atecard is used to lower high blood pressure, angina (chest pain). It is also used to prevent heart attack.
How to use: Take Atecard 50 mg tablet by mouth with or with out food. Take the medication as prescribed by your doctor. If you are taking for the treatment of chest pain, take it regularly at the same time for better results.
Side Effects: Dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness and nausea. Atenolol may cause impotency.
Dosage: The initial dose of 50 mg a day is given for hypertension and angina. If the desired response is not achieved the dose is increased to 100 mg a day.
