Uses of this medication:

Aspirin is a drug used to treat pain and reduce inflammation. Management of rheumatic disorders like Rheumatoid arthritis and Osteoarthritis. Under physician supervision it is also used to treat cardiovascular conditions like heart attacks, angina.

How to use this medication:

Aspirin tab are taken orally, since it irritates the stomach it is advisable to take with full glass of water or food. Do not break or crush the enteric coated tablet.

Always remember to inform your health expert if you are taking any prescription or OTC medication.

Inform your doctor

  • if you are less than 16 years old. 
  • If you have liver or kidney problems and blood pressure or heart problems.
  • Inform your doctor if you are planning to under go surgery.

If you are planning to become pregnant or breast feeding please make sure you notify to your doctor and pharmacist.

Side effects and when to consult your health expert:

Aspirin causes nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, heart burn. If you have any allergic reactions like swelling of lips, mouth, throat or difficult in breathing pl. consult emergency medical department

Dosage and Missed Dose

Mild to moderate pain and fever: 400mg every 6 hours maximum daily dose is 4grams per day.
For rheumatic disorder like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis 4 to 8 grams daily in divided doses.
Use as directed by your physician, your physician prescribes depending on the severity of disease.
Use the complete course of medication as prescribed by your physician even though you feel better after one or two days of usage of medication.

Missed dose: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at same time to cover up the missed dose


 This product should be stored at room temperature between (15-30 degrees C). Store it in a place where it won’t be exposed to excessive heat, moisture or direct sunlight never store in bathroom. Keep it out of reach of children. Make sure that any leftover portion is disposed of safely.

General information:

Aspirin should not be given to child who has fever esp. in flu like symptoms and in chicken pox to avoid fatal condition like Reye’s syndrome.

Avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking aspirin to avoid gastric irritation.

Pregnant woman and breast feeding woman should not take aspirin.
