Uses of this medication:
Finasteride is used to shrink the enlarged prostate (Benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH) in adult men.
How to use this medication:
It is taken with meals or between meals.
What you need to discuss with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
Always remember to inform your health expert if you are taking any prescription or OTC medication.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medical conditions like liver disease, prostate cancer, infections or urinary problems.

Impotency, decreased amount of semen per ejaculation. testicular pain. Hypersensitivity reactions like swelling of lips and face, urticaria, rashes.
Dosage and Missed Dose:
Dosage:
5mg once daily for about 6 months if required. or
Use as directed by your physician, your physician prescribe depending on the severity of disease.
Use the complete course of medication as prescribed by your physician even though you feel better after one or two days of usage of medication.
Missed dose: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at same time to cover up the missed dose.
Storage
This product should be stored at room temperature between (15-30 degrees C). Store it in a place where it won’t be exposed to excessive heat, moisture or direct sunlight never store in bathroom. Keep it out of reach of children. Make sure that any leftover portion is disposed of safely.
