How to determine the desirable weight of an individual

Q) How can i know if my weight is as required means i am not lean or over weight, obese.

A) The desirable weight is known through body mass index (BMI). The BMI is calculated by dividing the person’s weight (in kilograms) by the square of height (in meters). To fall within the ‘healthy range’ on the BMI, the result should be within 20 and 25 kg/m2. BMI values lesser and greater than 20 and 25 kg/m2 are associated with significant health risks.
