Q) My womb size is quite larger than normal. Does it affect my pregnancy.
A) There are many reasons for large uterus like adenomyosis, fibroids, cancer, after many pregnancies and other. In your case we need to know what the exact cause is. We can rule out cancer, multiple pregnancies and other serious underlying pathologies as there are not other symptoms mentioned. We also need to know how big it is.
As far as size of the uterus is concerned, yes it may influence
pregnancy depending upon the size and the underlying cause.
Some of the causes are self limiting, some may be treated by medicines and other may need surgical intervention. It will depend upon what is the cause. It is recommended that a checkup is done by gynecologist. Once you have all the reports we can discuss it further.
We should also think of other causes for not been able to conceive. Are you using any contraceptive method or have you used and discontinued now. Are you aware that middle part of the menstrual cycle is the time when he ova is ready to get fertilized. Unprotected (with out the use of condom or other contraceptive methods) sexual intercourse during that time is necessary for getting pregnant.
