A) Fiber is a type of component which helps in digestion. Fiber is not digestible unlike carbohydrate which is digestible. Fiber keeps digestive system healthy. It aids in removal of toxins and waste from stomach and intestines so that you are free from diseases.

High fiber content diet prevents constipation. Fiber help decrease the risk of colon disease like colon cancer.
 
Daily requirement of fiber is 25 to 30 grams per day.
